Needed Tools
Measuring & Marking
• Align a steel measuring tape vertically in the center of your window.
• Lower the tape to the desired bottom point of your drapery fabric.
• Extend the tape above the window to the full length of your panel and mark with a pencil.
• From the pencil mark, measure out to each side a distance equal to half of your rod length minus six inches for brackets, and mark.
Installing Hardware
• Loosen screws on brackets and remove bracket holders for wood hardware.
• Align bracket holder over the pencil mark and make guide marks.
• Attach bracket holders to both sides of the window and mount brackets to the wall for wood hardware.
• For metal hardware, align the top of the bracket opening over the pencil mark and make guide marks. Secure the L-shaped bracket to the wall with screws, then place the rod holder into the groove on top of the bracket.
Assembling Draperies
• Refer to product instructions for assembling draperies.
• Slide draperies over the rod or slide rings over the rod equal to the number of hooks on your draperies.
• Replace finials when draperies are in place on the rod.
• Carefully place the rod onto the brackets and arrange your draperies in the desired position.
